Summary

Helena has lived in the shadows since childhood. Her mother taught her that she suffers from a life-threatening sun allergy. As a result, she hides in the darkness every day, or at least behind protective clothing. When she meets a boy her age, she begins to question her own reality and her mother's intentions.
