New Movies on Netflix May 2022

This month on Netflix you can see the latest film by Omar Sy, know from the hit movie Intouchables, this time he plays a quirky detective in French crime comedy The Takedown. Also Rebel Wilson stars again in a new comedy called Senior Year where she tries to survive high school after being in a coma for 20 years.

The Takedown (2022)

Omar Sy (Lupin) is reason enough to watch this French crime comedy. In The Takedown he plays a quirky detective who has to work together with a colleague from the past. The two men are polar opposites, but desperately need each other’s help when a simple drug deal turns out to be part of a grand conspiracy.

Along for the Ride (2022)

Teen Auden (Emma Pasarow) is about to start college, but before that, she spends the summer with her father in the sleepy town of Colby. Unable to sleep, she wanders the streets at night and there she meets the charming Eli (Belmont Cameli). The mysterious boy takes her in tow and together they experience all kinds of adventures.

Senior Year (2022)

In 2002, 17-year-old cheerleader Stephanie falls into a coma and twenty years later wakes up in a hospital bed as a 37-year-old female (Rebel Wilson). The thirty-something tries to pick up her old life again and decides to finish her school. But to succeed, she must once again survive high school.
