New Movies on Netflix September 2022

Netflix has plenty of promising new movies releasing in September including the awards-hopeful Andrew Dominik film Blonde starring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe. Tyler Perry’s passion project A Jazzman’s Blues will also be coming to the streaming service in September and looks to show a much different side of the filmmaker than what we’re used to. There’ll also be new movies starring Camila Mendes, Maya Hawke, Allison Janney, Jurnee Smollett, Queen Latifah, and Ludacris with the films Do Revenge, Lou, and End of the Road.

Below you can see the full list of everything new on Netflix in September, as well as a couple highlights to check out.

End of the Road (2022)

After the death of her husband, Brenda (Queen Latifah) lost her job and she thinks it’s time for a new beginning. Together with her brother Reggie (Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges) and her two children, she looks for another city to start a new life. During this trip, the family stays in a motel and there they witness a crime. The family flees and is followed by the police and a group of mobsters.

End of the Road (2022)

Love in the Villa (2022)

Control freak Julie (Kat Graham) has already planned the vacation with her boyfriend, but just before they leave, he breaks up. She decides to go on a trip after all and is shocked to discover that her holiday villa has been rented out to the handsome Charlie (Tom Hopper). Since neither of the two wants to leave, they are forced to share the villa. That causes quite a few problems at first, but then they seem to like each other quite well.

Love in the Villa (2022)

Do Revenge (2022)

Popular teenager Drea (Camila Mendes) and nerdy Eleanor (Maya Hawke) both want revenge on the people who betrayed them. Drea wants to deal with her boyfriend Max (Austin Abrams) because he leaked her sex tape. And Eleanor is mad at a girl who has spread some nasty gossip about her. The girls decide to help each other with an elaborate revenge campaign.

Do Revenge (2022)

I Used to be Famous (2022)

Vince (Ed Skrein) used to be in a popular boy band and was world famous. That time is now over. The former superstar performs on the streets and normally no one is interested in his music, but when an autistic drummer happens to accompany him, the two seem to have a great chemistry. Vince sees this collaboration as an opportunity to become successful again.

I Used to be Famous (2022)

Blonde (2022)

For this Netflix Original, Ana de Armas takes on the role of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe. The world famous actress seems very successful and happy at first glance, but behind the scenes it is a completely different story. She faces many setbacks and finds it difficult that people only see Marilyn Monroe and not who she really is.
